Onyx Clownfish

Onyx Clownfish is a Percula Clownfish with jet black coloration between the white stripes. The Onyx name originated from Bill Addison at C-Quest Hatchery. C-Quest selected clownfish offspring with the blackest coloration and established the C-Quest line of Onyx Percula Clownfish.

When an Onyx Clownfish is paired with a Picasso Clownfish they produce an Onyx Picasso Clownfish. The offspring have the same markings as other Picasso Clownfish but have a much darker black like you see in Onyx Clownfish.
